How do I book a trailer?
Choose your trailer on this website and tap “Book on WhatsApp”. Add your dates, send the message and we confirm your booking on WhatsApp. You can also phone or WhatsApp us on 076 061 6621.
What do I need to bring?
Your South African ID. A valid driver's licence (Code B for trailers up to 750 kg; Code EB for heavier trailers). Proof of address (new customers). A vehicle with a tow bar and a working 7-pin trailer plug. Payment by card or cash when you collect (and the deposit, where the trailer needs one).
Which driver's licence do I need?
Code B for trailers up to 750 kg (luggage and light single axle trailers). Code EB for heavier trailers: 1 500 kg, 3 000 kg, flat beds and transporters. Also check that your vehicle may tow the trailer's weight.
How long is one day, and when must I bring it back?
Collect any time during opening hours at 11 Smith Street, Worcester. Return the trailer before 09:00 the next morning - that is 1 day. Collected from 15:00? Your hire starts the next day, so it is due back at 09:00 the morning after. Returned after 09:00? That counts as another day.
How do I pay?
Pay by card machine or cash when you collect the trailer. There is no online payment.
Is there a deposit?
Some trailers need a refundable deposit. It is shown with the trailer, paid by card or cash when you collect, and paid back after the trailer comes back in the same condition.

Where do I collect the trailer?
At 11 Smith Street, Worcester. We hook the trailer up for you and check the lights, tyres and plug with you.

New Trend Rentals is part of New Trend Manufacturing, a registered trailer and equipment manufacturer in Worcester since 2014. We hire out our own fleet of trailers – from luggage trailers for a weekend away to 3 000 kg double axle trailers, flat beds and car transporters.
Every trailer is hooked up and checked with you before it leaves: lights, tyres and plug. Book on WhatsApp, collect at our depot in Smith Street, and pay by card or cash when you collect.
